Silicone Leveling Agent

ADDSiL™ 8450 is a polyether-modified polydimethylsiloxane. It is a highly effective silicone additive, provides a strong reduction of surface tension and reduces the friction coefficient.

Application


  • ADDSiL™ 8450 can improve the resistance of scraping and increase the smooth feeling.


  • ADDSiL™ 8450 silicone additive for paint can provide good anti-shrinkage ability.


  • ADDSiL™ 8450 can provide good recoating and minimal influence on adhesion of coating films.

Packing and Storage


  • ADDSiL™ 8450 for silicone coating is supplied in 25Kg / 200Kg plastic drum or steel drum or according to customer's request.


  • In the original unopened packaging, ADDSiL™ 8450 has a shelf life of 12 months.


  • Separation or turbidity may occur at temperatures below 5°C. Warm to 20°C and mix well.
