Silicone emulsions are insoluble silicones evenly dispersed in water with the aid of an emulsifying surfactant. SiSiB silicone emulsions are heat stable, non-toxic products used in many industrial applications requiring lubrication, gloss, water repellent and release properties.

According to the type of emulsifier system used, silicone emulsions can be divided into three types, anionic, cationic and nonionic. Most emulsions are non-ionic, making them compatible with either of the other two systems but, depending on the application, cationic or anionic emulsions may be preferable.

The physical properties of these emulsions can be altered by using different silicone polymers to modify their viscosity. We provide high-concentration concentrates, which can be diluted with water before use, which can reduce transportation costs and storage space.

The viscosity and physical characteristics can be altered by using different viscosity base polymers, high or low viscosity silicone oil. High percentage solids versions can be supplied as concentrates and diluted with water prior to application, this makes for more cost effective transportation.

Silicone emulsions by SiSiB, a relaible silicone emulsion supplier, have a numerous advantages: Food-safe (the main volatile compound in silicone emulsions is water, making them perfect for industrial and home cooking applications); Easy to use (Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) are emulsified in an aqueous system, easy to apply, and simple to prepare); Environmentally friendly (being water-based do not bring force additional health hazards in the workplace); Cost-effective (high percentage solids versions can be supplied as concentrates, for dilution with water prior to use).

SiSiB offers a wide range of silicone emulsions for the following applications: release agents, lubricants, smoothing agents, softeners, gloss enhancers, antifoams, water repellents & paints, and personal care.
