SiSiB® Dimethicone is a non-reactive polydimethylsiloxane, which is one of the most widely used ingredients in cosmetics and personal care products. Dimethicone is commonly used as a silicone defoamer, skin protectant, skin conditioner and hair conditioner. SiSiB® Dimethicone is hydrophobic, when it is used in hair care products, it can improve the spreading of active substances, even at high molecular weights due to the low surface tension.

SiSiB® Dimethicone silicone personal care product can prevent moisture loss by forming a barrier on the skin. Like most silicone materials, Dimethicone has a unique fluidity, making it easy to spread, and when applied to the skin, it can provide a smooth and silky feel. It can also help fill in fine lines/wrinkles on the face, giving it a temporary perfect appearance. 

The viscosity range of SiSiB low viscosity Dimethicone fluid is 5cSt, 10cSt and 20cSt. Due to their high spreadability, low surface tension and subtle skin lubricity, they are mainly used as ingredients in many personal care products. These liquids are clear, tasteless, odorless and provide a non-greasy feel. They are widely used in various skin creams, skin lotions, sunscreens, silicobath oils and hair care products.

SiSiB produces a variety of high-quality dimethicone to meet the various needs of the personal care industry. SiSiB standard viscosity dimethicone are available in viscosities ranging from 50cSt to 1,000cSt. High viscosity and super-high viscosity dimethicone are made to order. SiSiB also offered in EU compliant grades(< 0.1% D4-D6).
