Silicone Resin

Silicone resins are formed by cross-linking various silicone compounds. The resulting materials are either elastomers or resins depending upon the degree of cross-linking. Materials with a low degree of cross-linking provide a dry powdery feel on the skin and absorb sebum. Higher degrees of cross-linking form rubbery films.


Silicone MQ resins consist of tetrafunctional silicones that are endcapped with mono functional silicones. These resins can vary in molecular weight and crosslinking density so that they can vary from liquid pourable resins at low molecular weight to film formers which are provided in solvent at higher molecular weights and crosslink densities.


SiSiB TMS (trimethylsiloxysilicate) can provide excellent film formability, waterproof, antifouling, and lubricity. Trimethylsiloxysilicate is a highly crosslinked silicone resin, mainly used in film forming. In skin care and color cosmetic applications, it helps to provide waterproof functions. In the skin care formulation, it brings long-lasting effects in protective cream, baby cream, sunscreen screams and lotions.


SiSiB® PC11258 silicone personal care product is a pure trimatehylsiloxysilicate powder form MQ resin. It provides excellent flow ability to prevent agglomeration, maintains free flowing characteristics of loose powder products. It can be compounded with polydimethylsiloxane and cyclosiloxane. SiSiB® PC11260 is a mixture of trimethylsiloxysilicate and dimethicone. It has a performance similar to the medium and high viscosity silicone oil, but has superior water repellency. SiSiB® PC11259 is a mixture of trimethylsiloxysilicate and cyclopentasiloxane. After evaporation of cyclopentasiloxane, the high molecular weight resin forms a highly durable film.


SiSiB® PMS resin (Polymethylsilsesquioxane) is a silicone micro resin for use as an silicone additive to improve the performance of plastics, rubbers, paints, etc. In addition to providing the specific characteristics of silicones, such as water repellency and lubricity, SiSiB® PMS resin (Polymethylsilsesquioxane) has a lower specific gravity than conventional inorganic fine powders and also has excellent heat resistance as compared with conventional organic fine powders.


SiSiB® PMS200 resin (Polymethylsilsesquioxane) provide an exceptional feel to skin when incorporated into a variety of cosmetic formulations. These benefits include excellent lubricity of skin lotions and lipsticks, reduction of powder agglomeration in pressed powders, good spreadability in skin creams and soft focus effects.
