SiSiB epoxy terminated silicone oil is prepared from hydrogen terminated silicone oil SiSiB® HF2030 by hydrosilylation reaction. Epoxy-terminated silicone oil has high reactivity. As a finishing agent for fiber fabrics, it can react with the hydroxyl, amino and carboxyl groups on the surface of the fiber to endow fiber fabric a durable and soft effect. Treated fabric is washable and does not have yellowing.
The traditional amino silicone oil has poor hydrophilicity, and is not easy to emulsify and yellowing. Now the most widely used silicone softener is the amino polyether modified organosiloxane.
While ternary copolymerized silicone oil does not contain branch chains, polysiloxane molecules can give soft properties, polyether amine molecules can provide hydrophilicity, they are combined alternately.
On the one hand, regular linear macromolecules can have a better affinity with the silicone fabric, and on the other hand, hydrogen bonding between the hydrophilic chain segment and water on the terpolymer silicone softener can be emulsified without emulsifier, and the stability of the emulsion is also greatly improved.
In addition, the ternary block copolymer softener does not contain primary amine group on the macromolecule, so the yellowing phenomenon is reduced.
