Nanjing SiSiB Silicones Co., Ltd.

SiSiB is a worldwide leading manufacturer of organosilanes for over 30 years. SiSiB sulfur silanes molecule consist of two trialkoxysilyl propyl groups linked with a polysulfide. Bis(3-triethoxysilylpropyl)tetrasulfide (SiSiB® PC2000) and bis(3-triethoxysilylpropyl)disulfide (SiSiB® PC2200) are the most popular two polysulfide silanes.

SiSiB sulfur silanes are used as a coupling agent for white fillers in various silicone rubber industries. They greatly simplify the processing properties of the rubber compound during mixing and extrusion. They improve the physical properties and mechanical properties of the final product.

By chemically modifying the silica surface, SiSiB sulfur silanes improve the compatibility and dispersion of the reinforcing filler in the rubber compounds, e.g. during tire manufacturing.

Sulfur silanes by SiSiB, a reliable silicone producer, are also used as a cross-linking agent in the preparation of non-aqueous polymers, which is used to manufacture general rubber products.

SiSiB® PC2200 is suitable for mixing at a high temperature. The polysulfide structure in which the distribution of sulfur is specified can ensure its stability at high temperature. Therefore, the formation of free sulfur from decarburization can be avoided. The silanol groups on the surface of silica can react with the sulfur silane coupling agent. At the same time, the dispersion of the silica into a rubber is remarkably improved; furthermore there are no effects on attribute processing. Thus it can improve the productivity of rubber processing and the low heat accumulation performance and abrasion resistance is improved.

In addition to liquid sulfur silanes, SiSiB also provides solid form sulfur silanes which can be used as dry blends with carbon black. SiSiB® PC2000B and SiSiB® PC2200B are 50:50 blends of N330 carbon black and the liquid sulfur silanes.
