ADDSiL™ Slip & Leveling Agents and KOBOND™ Silicone-Free Leveling Agents provide surface control solutions for coatings, inks, and related industrial systems. These additives are designed to improve flow, leveling, substrate wetting, surface smoothness, and overall film appearance during application and curing.


ADDSiL™ Slip & Leveling Agents are silicone-based surface additives developed to reduce surface tension and improve wetting performance on a wide range of substrates. By controlling surface orientation and flow behavior, these products help reduce defects such as craters, orange peel, pinholes, brush marks, and poor leveling. Depending on product structure and compatibility, selected grades can also improve slip, gloss uniformity, anti-blocking performance, scratch resistance, and surface smoothness.


Polyether-modified silicone technologies can provide a balanced combination of surface activity and compatibility, helping reduce defect tendency while maintaining leveling performance. Reactive silicone additives may further improve long-term durability and surface stability through participation in the curing network. The product range is suitable for waterborne, solvent-based, UV-curable, and high-solid systems.


KOBOND™ Silicone-Free Leveling Agents are developed for systems where silicone-free surface control is preferred, especially in formulations sensitive to intercoat adhesion, crater sensitivity, foam stabilization, or silicone contamination. These products improve flow, leveling, gloss uniformity, and film appearance through controlled surface tension adjustment and resin compatibility optimization without introducing silicone-related surface migration behavior.


ADDSiL™ and KOBOND™ technologies are widely used in industrial coatings, automotive coatings, wood coatings, overprint varnishes, printing inks, and specialty formulations requiring optimized flow, leveling, substrate wetting, surface smoothness, recoating performance, and long-term coating appearance. Depending on formulation requirements, silicone-based systems can provide stronger surface activity and slip performance, while silicone-free technologies offer more controlled surface behavior in sensitive applications.
