SiSiB® Acrylate Modified Silicone Resin is a hybrid organosiloxane resin combining silicone backbone structures with acrylic functionality to balance weatherability, flexibility, adhesion, hardness, and surface performance. Compared with conventional acrylic resins, silicone-acrylic systems generally provide improved water repellency, weather resistance, UV durability, slip properties, and long-term outdoor stability.

The incorporation of acrylic functionality helps improve compatibility with organic coating systems, film formation, curing behavior, pigment dispersion stability, and substrate adhesion, while silicone structures contribute to low surface energy, surface smoothness, anti-blocking behavior, and environmental durability. Depending on formulation design, selected grades can provide balanced hardness, flexibility, gloss retention, and chemical resistance.

Different acrylate modified silicone resin technologies are suitable for industrial coatings, anti-graffiti coatings, easy-to-clean coatings, UV-curable systems, protective coatings, release coatings, specialty inks, and surface modification applications.
