Diethyl Silicone Fluids

With more than 30 years of manufacturing experience in silicone materials and specialty chemicals, SiSiB SILICONES provides a broad range of specialty silicone fluids for lubrication, cosmetics, damping, thermal management, and industrial processing applications.

SiSiB® Diethyl Silicone Fluid, also known as Polydiethylsiloxane (PDES), is a clear and colorless silicone fluid designed to provide outstanding low-temperature fluidity, thermal stability, lubrication performance, and compatibility with mineral oils and organic systems.

Compared with conventional polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) fluids, PDES technology offers significantly improved low-temperature performance, enhanced compatibility with hydrocarbons and cosmetic oils, and excellent metal-to-metal lubrication behavior.

Depending on viscosity and formulation design, selected grades can be used as high-performance lubricants, damping fluids, dispersion media, hydraulic fluids, polishing additives, mold-release lubricants, and specialty process fluids. Certain grades are optimized for extreme low-temperature applications with operational performance down to -100°C or lower, while higher-viscosity grades are suitable for shock absorbers, damping systems, and specialty lubrication technologies.

Due to their low surface tension, soft lubricating feel, and excellent compatibility with oils and waxes, selected PDES grades are also suitable for cosmetic and personal care formulations, particularly where enhanced spreadability, cushion feel, and pigment wetting performance are desired.
