Release Additives

ADDSiL™ Release Additives are specialty silicone-based surface additives designed to improve release performance, surface slip, anti-blocking properties, and processability in coatings, inks, adhesives, composites, and related industrial systems. By reducing surface energy and modifying interfacial behavior, these additives help minimize adhesion between coated surfaces and contacting materials during processing, curing, handling, or demolding.

Depending on molecular structure and compatibility design, selected ADDSiL™ release technologies can also improve surface smoothness, scratch resistance, anti-mar performance, and substrate release consistency while maintaining coating appearance and film integrity. Certain grades are suitable for applications requiring controlled release performance without excessive surface migration or negative impact on recoating properties.
