AmorZane™ Polysilazane is a low-viscosity, solvent-free reactive inorganic-organic hybrid resin designed to provide outstanding heat resistance, scratch resistance, hydrophobicity, weatherability, and surface durability. Depending on molecular structure and curing technology, selected grades can provide excellent adhesion, high hardness, chemical resistance, UV resistance, and long-term environmental stability on metal, glass, ceramic, and plastic substrates.


Different polysilazane technologies are available for thermal cure, moisture cure, UV cure, and hybrid reactive coating systems. Certain grades are optimized for rapid room-temperature curing, while others are designed for high ceramic yield, extreme temperature stability, or compatibility with hybrid coating formulations.


Compared with conventional organic coating resins, polysilazane systems generally exhibit lower surface energy, excellent hydrophobicity, outstanding weather resistance, and superior thermal durability. Pyrolyzed polysilazane coatings can also form ceramic-like structures with excellent high-temperature stability and corrosion resistance.


AmorZane™ Polysilazane technologies are widely used in scratch-resistant coatings, hydrophobic protective coatings, high-temperature coatings, anti-corrosion coatings, ceramic precursor coatings, non-stick coatings, automotive interior and exterior coatings, and specialty surface protection systems. Selected grades are also suitable for hybrid formulations reacting with isocyanates, alcohols, epoxies, amines, phenolics, and other functional systems.

AmorZane™ 5800 is a high ceramic-yield polysilazane resin designed for high-temperature protective coatings and ceramic precursor applications requiring excellent hardness, hydrophobicity, and thermal stability up to 1000°C after pyrolysis.
