RTV-1 Silicone Sealant

With more than 30 years of manufacturing experience in silicone materials and specialty chemicals, SiSiB SILICONES provides a broad range of RTV-1 silicone sealant technologies for construction, industrial assembly, glazing, electronics, transportation, and specialty sealing applications.

SINOSIL™ RTV-1 Silicone Sealants are one-component, moisture-curing silicone systems designed to provide durable sealing, bonding, weather resistance, and long-term elasticity under a wide range of environmental conditions. The product portfolio includes acetoxy cure, neutral cure, alkoxy cure, oxime cure, low modulus, high modulus, fast-curing, and specialty functional sealant technologies to meet different processing and application requirements.

During curing, SINOSIL™ RTV-1 sealants react with atmospheric moisture to form flexible elastomeric silicone rubber with excellent resistance to UV exposure, temperature aging, moisture, ozone, and outdoor weathering. Depending on formulation design, selected grades can provide strong adhesion to glass, aluminum, ceramics, concrete, plastics, coated metals, and various construction substrates without requiring complex processing equipment.

The SINOSIL™ portfolio includes solutions for structural glazing, weather sealing, sanitary sealing, kitchen & bathroom sealing, façade construction, insulating glass, fire-resistant sealing, electronic encapsulation, industrial assembly, and general-purpose sealing applications. Selected grades are designed to balance adhesion, movement capability, extrusion performance, curing speed, low odor, and long-term durability under demanding service conditions.

For industrial applications, certain SINOSIL™ RTV-1 technologies are optimized for low VOC requirements, non-corrosive curing behavior, improved primerless adhesion, or enhanced compatibility with sensitive electronic and metal substrates. Specialty grades are also available for applications requiring mildew resistance, high transparency, high temperature resistance, or low fogging performance.

In addition to finished sealant products, SiSiB SILICONES can also provide starting formulations and technical reference formulations to support customers developing their own RTV-1 silicone sealant production systems. Selected raw materials, intermediates, and additive packages are also available for customers requiring flexible formulation and localized manufacturing solutions.

To support different business models and regional market requirements, SiSiB SILICONES can supply both finished packaged products and bulk packaging solutions for local filling and private label operations.
