SiSiB® Hydrogen Silicone Resin is a reactive organosiloxane resin containing active Si-H functionality designed for hydrosilylation crosslinking, reinforcement, and reactive modification in platinum-cure silicone systems. Depending on molecular structure and phenyl content, selected grades can provide excellent crosslinking efficiency, thermal stability, transparency, refractive index, mechanical reinforcement, and film-forming performance.
Different hydrogen silicone resin technologies are available for methyl hydrogen silicone resin and methyl phenyl hydrogen silicone resin systems. Methyl hydrogen grades are particularly suitable for optical silicone rubber, LED patch adhesives, electronic adhesives, liquid adhesives, and thermal conductive silicone formulations requiring reinforcement and transparency.
Methyl phenyl hydrogen silicone resin technologies provide higher refractive index, improved thermal stability, and excellent Si-H reactivity, making them suitable for high-temperature addition-cure liquid silicone rubber, optical encapsulation materials, and high refractive index LED silicone encapsulation systems.
Due to the presence of reactive Si-H groups, selected grades can participate in hydrosilylation reactions with vinyl-functional silicone systems and other reactive organic structures under platinum catalysis, enabling efficient crosslinking, low-temperature curing, and stable network formation in demanding silicone applications.
