Silicone Leveling Agent

ADDSiL™ 1484 is a polyether siloxane copolymer designed to improve flow, surface smoothness and deaeration in coating systems. It provides excellent leveling and helps release entrapped air in solvent-free and solvent-borne formulations. It also supports the orientation of matting agents and improves surface slip without adversely affecting recoatability.

Application


ADDSiL™ 1484 is suitable for a wide range of solvent-borne and solvent-free coating systems, particularly epoxy coatings, UV-curable coatings, floor coatings, protective coatings, industrial coatings and wood coatings.

Packing and Storage


  • ADDSiL™ 1484 is available in 25Kg pails.


  • When stored in the original unopened containers, ADDSiL™ 1484 has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of production.
