ADDSiL™ 1335 is a fluorocarbon-modified silicone surface additive designed for substrate wetting, leveling and defect control in coating and ink formulations.
ADDSiL™ 1335 significantly reduces surface tension, improving substrate wetting and flow. It helps prevent surface defects such as cratering caused by contamination or poor substrate cleanliness, while enhancing surface slip and film uniformity.
ADDSiL™ 1335 is suitable for waterborne, solvent-borne and radiation-curable systems.

ADDSiL™ 1335 is suitable for solvent-borne and waterborne coating systems where improved substrate wetting and surface defect control are required. By significantly reducing interfacial tension, it promotes wetting and helps prevent cratering caused by contamination or poor substrate cleanliness. The additive also improves surface smoothness, leveling and slip, and helps prevent floating.
In some systems, the strong wetting effect may lead to slight foam stabilization; the use of a defoamer is recommended if necessary.
ADDSiL™ 1335 is available in 25Kg pails.
When stored at temperatures between 10°C and 35°C in the original unopened containers, ADDSiL™ 1335 has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of production.
