ADDSiL™ 1254 is a polyether modified polysiloxane with high silicone content. It could provide excellent leveling, good hand feeling, as well as good defoaming effect without affecting recoating.It can also enhance gloss, abrasion resistance, water repellency, and flow-out, particularly in polyurethane systems.

ADDSiL™ 1254 is primarily designed for solvent-borne systems but can also be used in waterborne coatings. It is compatible with a wide range of resin systems, including acrylics, alkyds, epoxies, polyesters, polyurethanes, and vinyl-based coatings.
It can be incorporated during the let-down stage or post-added to formulations. Thorough preproduction testing is recommended to verify compatibility and performance, particularly in clear systems.

When stored at temperatures between 10°C and 35°C in the original unopened containers, ADDSiL™ 1254 has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of production.
