Silicone-ABS Masterbatch

SiSiB® MB5050 is an ultra-high molecular weight siloxane polymer dispersed in ABS resin. It is designed to be used as additive in resin compatible systems to improve processing and modify surface characteristics.

Application



  • SiSiB® MB5050 should be blended with virgin polymer pellets to give the desired Siloxane leveling the final product.


  • SiSiB® MB5050 can be added during compounding in a single screw extruder or added at the feed hopper during the injection molding or extrusion.


  • Recommend dosage:

    When added at 0.5% to 2%, it improved processing and flow of the resin, including better silicone molding filling, less extruder torque, internal lubrication, mold release and faster throughput..

    When added at higher levels, it improved surface properties, including lubricity, slip, lower COF, scratch resistance and abrasion resistance.

  • SiSiB® MB5050 silicone masterbatch is supplied in 25Kg craft paper bag.]


  • In the unopened original container SiSiB® MB5050 has a shelf life of one year in a dry and cool place.
