Applications

  • SiSiB® PC19594 can be used in a wide range of silicone personal care applications such as skin care, color cosmetics and sun care and so on.

  • How to use:

  • Slowly add the water phase into the oil phase, and then stir the mixture quickly till uniform. Speeding up the stirring can improve the stability of the emulsion system.

  • Electrolytes, preferably NaCl at a level of 0.5%-2% should be added to the water phase to attain storage stability. Adding some antifreeze agents such as propanediol and glycerin can improve the antifreeze effect of the finished product. Increasing the water proportion can improve silicone oil viscosity of the system.

  • Stir the oil and emulsifier thoroughly before adding water to emulsify.

  • If all the ingredients are liquid, emulsification can be operated at room temperature without homogenizer. Quick stirring can attain stable emulsion.

  • Recommend Dosage:

The recommended usage level of this silicone transformer oil product is 1%-5% when it’s used as major emulsifier, and 0.1%-1.5% as auxiliary emulsifier (according to the total amount of the formulation).
