Silicone PA6 Masterbatch

SiSiB® MB7030 is an ultra-high molecular weight siloxane polymer dispersed in Polyamide 6 (PA 6) resin. It is designed to be used as additive in resin compatible systems to improve processing and modify surface characteristics.

Application


  • SiSiB® MB7030 is widely used as an efficient silicone additive for PA6/66 or other compatible resin system to improve processing properties and surface quality.


  • SiSiB® MB7030 can be used to improve the properties like liquidity, demolding, dispersion.


  • SiSiB® MB7030 can also be used to improve anti-friction properties, scratch and abrasion resistance as the coefficient of friction is lowered and surface become smoother.


  • SiSiB® MB7030 can also be used to improve flow ability, mold release, floating fiber such as PA6/PA66 engineering plastics and other PA6/66 series materials.


  • Use methods:

    Mixed with its compatible silicone resin at a certain proportion then molding or pelleting directly after drying SiSiB® MB7030 at 80-120°C for about 4 to 5 hours.


  • Recommend dosage:

    Addition level at 0.5% to 2% can improve the product’s processing, liquidity and mold release. At a high level: 1% to 5% can improve the surface properties (smoothness, scratch resistance and abrasion resistance).

Packing and Storage


  • SiSiB® MB7030 siloxane silicone polymer is supplied in 25kg, craft paper bag and it can be customized according to the special needs.


  • In the original unopened packaging, SiSiB® MB7030 has a shelf life of 24 months at dry condition, room temperature.
