ADDSiL™ 2150 is a methacryloxy-terminated silicone oligomer for silicone-modified acrylic emulsions and coatings. It enhances slip, abrasion resistance, and water/oil repellency. By reacting with vinyl monomers, it enables PFAS-free, eco-friendly protective coatings with antifouling and anti-graffiti performance.
High reactivity for copolymerization with various vinyl monomers
Enables the synthesis of water- and oil-repellent silicone-modified acrylic resins
Provides a PFAS-free solution for water- and oil-repellent coatings
Enhances slip, abrasion resistance, and surface smoothness
Imparts antifouling and anti-graffiti properties

ADDSiL™ 2150 reactive silicone is widely used in:
Synthesis of silicone-modified acrylic emulsions and resins
Functional resin modification for coatings and inks
Unsaturated polyester resin systems
Water- and oil-repellent coatings as PFAS alternatives
High-performance coatings requiring enhanced slip, durability, and surface protection
Silicone-modified (meth)acrylic polymers can be synthesized by mixing ADDSiL™ 2150 with a solvent, (meth)acrylic monomers, and a polymerization initiator, followed by heating.
ADDSiL™ 2150 is available in 25Kg pails and 200Kg steel drums.
When stored at temperatures between 5°C and 35°C in the original unopened containers, ADDSiL™ 2150 has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of production.
