KOBOND™ 8427 is a polymer-based non-silicone defoamer for water-based coatings, delivering strong defoaming/deaeration at low dosages without impairing gloss/recoating, and is silicone-, mineral oil- and VOC-free, pH-stable and compatible with most systems.

Application


  • KOBOND™ 5427 is suitable for water-based coatings, printing inks, and dispersion adhesives. It is especially recommended for architectural coatings, including emulsion paints and plasters with PVC levels from 30 to 85. The product may cause turbidity or seeding in clear coatings.

Packing and Storage


KOBOND™ 5427 is supplied in 25kg pails.


Keep in dry, cool and well-ventilated place. When stored at temperatures between 10°C and 35°C in the original unopened containers, KOBOND™ 5427 has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of production.


Separation may occur during storage; mix well before use.
