Anti-graffiti Additives

ADDSiL™ 1469 is an organic-modified polysiloxane that provides excellent anti-graffiti and anti-blocking effects. It can be used as an emulsifier for silicone rubber and silicone oil, suitable for both water-based and solvent-based coatings. It is similar to BYK-3720.

Introduction


ADDSiL™ 1469 is a polyether-modified polysiloxane designed for use in both waterborne and solventborne coating systems.


It provides good anti-graffiti and anti-blocking performance while maintaining good compatibility with various resin systems. The additive enhances surface slip and cleanability without negatively affecting leveling or film appearance.

ADDSiL™ 1469 is recommended for:

It is suitable for formulations requiring improved surface protection, enhanced slip, reduced contaminant adhesion, and better cleanability.

Packing and Storage


ADDSiL™ 1469 is supplied in net weight 25 kg pail.


When stored at ambient temperature in the original unopened packing, ADDSiL™ 1469 has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of production.
