Benefits & Applications

SiSiB® PC16270 is suitable for use in skin care, sun care, makeup, hair care, perfume, and antiperspirant products. It can be directly added to the oil phase or silicone phase of an emulsion and is compatible with both hot and cold processing.

Pre-mixing with dimethicone or cyclomethicone can help reduce its viscosity and improve handling. When heating is necessary, the product should be processed in a closed vessel at temperatures not exceeding 60 °C.

SiSiB® PC162722 may exhibit increased viscosity or slight lumping after prolonged storage. This is a normal characteristic of the product and does not affect its performance. Gentle stirring will restore it to a uniform consistency.

Packing and Storage

SiSiB® PC16270 is available in 18Kg plastic pails and 180Kg steel drums.

When stored at temperatures between 10°C and 40°C in the original unopened containers, SiSiB® PC16270 has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of production.
