SINOSIL™ 9160 is a general-purpose RTV2 addition cure silicone potting compound with a 1:1 mix ratio. When mixed, the liquid cures into an elastomer, making it ideal for electrical and electronic potting and encapsulating applications.

The thermal expansion coefficient of organosilicon compounds ranges from 5.9 - 7.9 × 10⁻⁴ /°C.
The linear thermal expansion coefficient is approximately one-third of the volumetric coefficient and may be used to estimate dimensional changes within a defined temperature range.
