SiSiB® SR8255 is widely used as a binder in high-temperature and weather-resistant coatings, offering excellent thermal and UV stability. It is suitable for use in powder coatings, industrial bake coatings, and protective finishes for electrical insulation and outdoor equipment.
Additionally, SiSiB® SR8255 can be blended with solvent-based silicone resins to reduce volatile organic content (VOC) or incorporated into solvent-based organic resins to enhance heat resistance and weatherability. This makes it an ideal choice for formulating advanced coatings in automotive, electrical, and industrial applications.
SiSiB® SR8255 is available in 20Kg pails and 50Kg drum.
SiSiB® SR8255 can crosslink or self-condense in the presence of moisture, making it essential to avoid moisture exposure before final application.
SiSiB® SR8255 Silicone Resin has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored in its original, unopened containers at or below 0°C-40°C. After opening, containers should be tightly sealed to prevent contamination and moisture from entering the product.
