Application

SiSiB® PC5801C (n-Decyltrimethoxysilane) offers superior hydrophobicity and is commonly used as a water-repellent through impregnation, providing long-lasting moisture resistance to a variety of substrates. It is highly effective in treating mineral fillers, pigments, and inorganic surfaces, improving their dispersion and enhancing their performance in composite materials.

By reducing surface energy, SiSiB® PC5801C increases adhesion between inorganic surfaces and organic resins, making it an excellent coupling agent for improving the strength and durability of coatings, sealants, adhesives, and rubber.

Additionally, it enhances the weatherability and corrosion resistance of treated materials, making it ideal for use in outdoor and industrial applications.
