Cyclopentasiloxane (and) Dimethicone (and) Dimethicone / Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer

SiSiB® PC16519 is a high molecular weight silicone elastomer blend dispersed in cyclopentasiloxane (D5) and low viscosity dimethicone. It provides silky smoothness together with a light, non-greasy skin feel.


SiSiB® PC16519 offers high thickening efficiency and contributes to a matte skin finish while improving spreadability and sensory performance in cosmetic formulations.

Application


  • SiSiB® PC16519 is suitable for cosmetic formulations requiring enhanced sensory properties, viscosity build, and a smooth matte finish. Typical applications include make-up bases, liquid foundations, light creams, anti-wrinkle creams, concealers, eye creams, essence lotions, blushers, and body lotions.


  • SiSiB® PC16519 may be used in oil-in-water emulsions, water-in-oil emulsions, and anhydrous formulations.

Packing and Storage


  • Stored at or below 50°C in original unopened containers, SiSiB® PC16519 has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of production.
