ADDSiL™ 2901 is a spherical silicone elastomer powder functionalized with epoxy groups. Designed for use in solvent-based, UV-curable, or 100% solid systems, it enhances mar and abrasion resistance, imparts a smooth and soft touch, and provides uniform matting to the coating surface.

Application


ADDSiL™ 2901 is suitable for coatings, inks, and plastic compounds requiring surface durability and a soft-matte appearance. It can be used in:


  • Solvent-based wood and plastic coatings


  • UV-curable coatings and 100% solids systems


  • Matte varnishes and topcoats


  • Polymer modification for added toughness and texture

Packing and Storage


ADDSiL™ 2901 is supplied in 10Kg fiber keg with polyethylene liner.


When stored at temperatures below 35°C in the original unopened containers, ADDSiL™ 2901 has a shelf life of 18 months from the date of production.
