Silicone Surfactant for Rigid Foam

ADDSiL™ 11830 silicone surfactant is a non-hydrolysable silicone copolymer designed for manufacturing rigid polyurethane foams. It is highly effective in applications such as refrigerators and pipe insulation, enhancing foam stability and performance in demanding thermal insulation environments.

Features


  • Provides good solubility of pentane or HFC/pentane mixtures in the typical polyol formulations in the appliances industry.


  • Improves nucleation and provides extremely fine celled foams, ensures the foam with low thermal conductivities.


  • Improves foaming efficiency, brings good foam flow and well density distribution, reduces the formation of void.

Applications


  • ADDSiL™ 11830 is a very efficient surfactant in refrigerators and pipe insulation applications. The recommended concentration of this product is 2% ~ 4% of polyol (php).

Packing and Storage


ADDSiL™ 11830 is supplied in net weight 200Kg steel drum or 1050Kg IBC tote.


When stored at ambient temperature in the original unopened packing, ADDSiL™ 11830 has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of production.
