SiSiB® OF1301-M4000

SiSiB® OF1301-M4000 is a linear di-functional silicone prepolymer with reactive hydroxyethoxypropyl terminal groups (also referred to as carbinol-terminated polydimethylsiloxane). With a molecular weight of approximately 4000, it is designed to chemically react with various polymers, introducing silicone segments into their structure to enhance both surface and bulk properties.

Application


SiSiB® OF1301-M4000 is used to enhance polymer performance by improving:


  • Surface slip, antiblocking, and mar resistance


  • Flexibility (especially at low temperatures)


  • Hydrophobicity and surface smoothness


  • Abrasion and temperature resistance


  • Anti-graffiti properties and processability


It can be co-reacted into polymers such as coatings, resins, and plastics during synthesis. The hydroxyl end groups provide covalent integration into polymer backbones.


Packing and Storage


SiSiB® OF1301-M4000 fluid is supplied in 25Kg pail or 200Kg steel drum.


In the original unopened packaging, SiSiB® OF1301-M4000 fluid has a shelf life of 18 months in a dry and cool place.
