SiSiB® PC9422 is a disiloxane featuring two phenyl and one methyl group on each silicon atom. This structure provides excellent thermal stability and low volatility. It is a colorless to pale yellow liquid, readily soluble in organic solvents like toluene and acetone.

Application


  • SiSiB® PC9422 is an essential intermediate in the synthesis of specialty silicone materials. It is widely employed as an end-capping agent for phenyl-modified silicone oils, allowing precise control over polymer chain termination. This structural control enhances radiation resistance, improves thermal stability, and significantly elevates the overall performance of advanced materials, including LED encapsulant adhesives and high-temperature heat transfer fluids.


Packing and Storage


SiSiB® PC9422 is available in 200Kg open-top steel drum or 25Kg cardboard drum.


SiSiB® PC9422 may be stored up to one year in a sealed container. Containers should be stored in a cool, dry area. Extended storage at elevated temperatures or exposure to direct heat or sunlight could reduce product life. Keep containers sealed when not in use.
