Silicone Softener

POWSIL™ 99889 is a block silicone softener designed for textile finishing applications. It imparts treated fabrics with a soft, bulky and silky handle while maintaining good hydrophilicity.


POWSIL™ 99889 exhibits excellent chemical stability and compatibility with common textile auxiliaries. It is particularly suitable for finishing processes of cotton and other cellulosic fabrics and can be used in heat-setting equipment as well as in dyeing machines.

Application


POWSIL™ 99889 is easily soluble in water and exhibits good fluidity, making it suitable for automatic dosing systems in textile finishing processes. It provides fabrics with a soft, bulky and smooth handle while maintaining good hydrophilicity.

Packing and Storage


  • POWSIL™-99889 is supplied in 120Kg plastic drums.


  • Stored in unopened original unopened drums at room temperature and away from direct sunlight, POWSIL™-99889 has a shelf life of one year from the date of production. Keep containers tightly sealed when not in use.


  • Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat or freezing conditions, which may lead to product separation. If separation occurs, the product should not be used.
