SiSiB® DF1031

SiSiB® DF1031 is a silicone-based defoamer specifically developed for nutrient-rich fermentation media. It is composed of modified polysiloxane, silicone polyether, hydrophobic silica, and food-grade emulsifiers. Designed for high-foam systems like microbial culture and polyunsaturated fatty acid fermentation, it offers excellent safety and efficiency, with no adverse effects on microbial growth.

Application


SiSiB® DF1031 is ideal for high-density seed cultures and special microbial fermentations, where conventional oil-based defoamers like soybean oil are inadequate. It is recommended for use in:


  • Vaccine fermentation


  • Lovastatin production


  • Vitamin B12, ARA, DHA fermentations


  • Other specialty microbial cultures

Packing and Storage


SiSiB® DF1031 is supplied in 25Kg / 200Kg drums, 1000 Kg IBC container.


Stored in a dry and ventilated environment, SiSiB® DF1031 has a shelf life of one year. Pay attention to prevent humidity or freezing.
