PET-Based Silicone Wax Masterbatch

SiSiB® SiM4018 is a modified silicone wax masterbatch based on a PET carrier. It is developed for PET, PBT and related engineering plastics to improve surface durability and processing performance.


SiSiB® SiM4018 increases scratch and abrasion resistance while maintaining surface gloss and appearance. It also improves lubrication and mold release during processing and enhances the hydrophobic and oleophobic properties of finished parts.

Application


  • SiSiB® SiM4018 is suitable for PET, PBT and other engineering plastics where improved scratch resistance, abrasion resistance, lubrication, mold release and surface appearance are required. It is also effective in increasing the hydrophobicity and oleophobicity of finished products.

Packing and Storage


  • SiSiB® SiM4018 is supplied in 25 kg bags with a PE inner liner and a paper-plastic outer bag.


  • Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place. SiSiB® SiM4018 has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of production when stored in its original unopened packaging.
