SiSiB® SiTV173 is a silicone masterbatch designed to provide permanent anti-squeak performance in PC/ABS applications. It works by reducing stick-slip behavior between contacting plastic parts, thereby minimizing noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) without the need for secondary surface treatments.

Application


SiSiB® SiTV173 is intended for use in PC/ABS parts where squeak noise caused by friction and vibration is a concern, including:


  • Automotive interior components (trim, instrument panels, center consoles)


  • Appliance parts (refrigerator trays and bins, washing machines, dishwashers)


  • Construction components such as window frames


Packing and Storage


SiSiB® SiTV173 is supplied in 25 kg paper-plastic composite bags with polyethylene inner liners.


In the original unopened packaging, SiSiB® SiTV173 has a shelf life of 24 months in a cool and well-ventilated place.
