Cyclopentasiloxane (and) Dimethicone / Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer

SiSiB® PC16508 is a crosslinked high molecular weight silicone elastomer gel swollen in cyclopentasiloxane (D5). It functions as a thickening and sensory modifier in cosmetic formulations while providing a smooth, silky after-feel.


It improves spreadability, reduces tackiness, and contributes to a light, non-greasy skin feel. The cyclopentasiloxane carrier evaporates after application, helping enhance sensory performance on the skin.

Application


  • SiSiB® PC16508 is suitable for cosmetic formulations requiring a smooth, silky, and lightweight skin feel. Typical applications include sunscreen products, moisturizers, anti-aging creams, foundations, lip glosses, pressed powders, eye serums, and eyeshadows.


  • It may be used as an integral formulation component or as a sensory additive to improve application properties and skin feel.

Packing and Storage


  • SiSiB® PC16508 is available in 18Kg pail or 180Kg drum.


  • When stored in the original unopened container at or below 50°C, SiSiB® PC16508 has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of production.
