SiSiB® SR8701-50 is mainly used as a functional additive in release agent, defoamer, and silicone sealant formulations.
In release agents, the MQ resin forms a durable and heat-resistant silicone film on the mold surface, providing superior anti-adhesion, thermal stability, and mold cleanliness compared with conventional silicone oils. It effectively minimizes product sticking and build-up, extends mold life, and ensures a smooth surface finish in thermoplastic, rubber, polyurethane, and epoxy molding processes.
In defoamers, the incorporation of MQ resin enhances both foam-breaking efficiency and long-term foam suppression. The rigid MQ structure reinforces the silicone matrix, improving heat, shear, and chemical resistance, making it ideal for high-temperature, high-solids, and alkaline systems such as coatings, adhesives, and industrial chemical processes.
In silicone sealants, SiSiB® SR8701-50 acts as a resin modifier or reinforcing component, improving surface hardness, adhesion, gloss retention, and weather resistance. It enhances the cohesive strength and long-term durability of the cured sealant while maintaining excellent transparency and elasticity.
SiSiB® SR8701 is available in 20Kg plastic drum and 200Kg steel drum.
