SiSiB® DF1038 is a 100% active, non-aqueous defoamer based on modified polysiloxane and hydrocarbon components. It is designed primarily for foam control during crude-oil production, gathering, processing and transportation. The product is particularly effective in controlling foam generated by gas breakout from crude oil, including foam encountered in three-phase separation and related oilfield processing operations.

SiSiB® DF1038 is primarily used for foam control during crude-oil gathering, separation, processing and transportation, particularly for foam generated by the release of natural gas from crude oil. It may also be used in oil-based industrial systems, including printing inks, PCB inks, screen-printing inks, coatings, resin polymerization, epoxy resin adhesives, phenolic resin systems, petroleum-processing gas scrubbing, vacuum distillation, monomer processing and ethylene glycol production.
SiSiB® DF1038 is available in 25kg plastic drums, 200kg drums, or 1000kg IBC totes.
