Dimethicone (and) Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer

SiSiB® PC16351 is a silicone elastomer gel dispersed in low viscosity dimethicone. It provides a dry, smooth after-feel together with a soft focus effect and helps improve the sensory profile of cosmetic formulations.


It can be used as a sensory modifier and thickening agent in a variety of personal care formulations. It is suitable for make-up, skin care, and other formulations requiring a smooth and matte finish.

Application


  • SiSiB® PC16351 is suitable for formulations requiring soft focus, smooth skin feel, and a matte finish. Typical applications include soft focus primers, high coverage foundations, matte lip glosses, light facial creams, and eye creams.


  • It may also be used in make-up and skin care formulations where improved sensory properties and optical blurring effects are desired.

Packing and Storage


  • SiSiB® PC16351 is available in 18Kg pail or 180Kg drums.


  • Stored at or below 50°C in original unopened containers, SiSiB® PC16351 has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of production.
