Fast Hydrophilic Silicone Softener

POWSIL™ 99261 is a nonionic polyether-modified silicone terpolymer with high active content, developed for hydrophilic textile finishing. It provides rapid and consistent water absorption on a wide range of fibers, fabrics and selected nonwovens, while imparting a soft, smooth and slick hand.


POWSIL™ 99261 is readily dispersible in water and can be diluted to the desired concentration without additional emulsifiers. It offers good stability in conventional textile finishing processes and minimizes the risk of oil spots on treated fabrics.

Application


  • POWSIL™ 99261 is suitable for the hydrophilic soft finishing of a wide range of textile fibers and fabrics, as well as selected nonwoven materials.


  • It may be used alone or as a hydrophilicity enhancer in combination with other softeners, such as fatty acid softener flakes and amino silicone softeners. It may also be used as a co-emulsifier in textile auxiliary formulations.

Packing and Storage


  • POWSIL™-99261 is available in 50Kg or 120Kg Plastic drum.


  • Store at room temperature in a tightly closed container. Protect from direct sunlight and prolonged exposure to extreme heat or cold.


  • POWSIL™ 99261 has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacture.
