Application

ADDSiL™ 2312 reactive silicone is widely used in:

Synthesis of silicone-modified acrylic emulsions and resins

Functional resin modification for coatings and inks

Unsaturated polyester resin systems

Water- and oil-repellent coatings as PFAS alternatives

High-performance coatings requiring enhanced slip, durability, and surface protection

Silicone-modified (meth)acrylic polymers can be synthesized by mixing ADDSiL™ 2312 with a solvent, (meth)acrylic monomers, and a polymerization initiator, followed by heating.

Packing and Storage

ADDSiL™ 2312 is available in 25Kg pails and 200Kg steel drums.

When stored at temperatures between 5°C and 35°C in the original unopened containers, ADDSiL™ 2312 has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of production.
