ADDSiL™ 2073 is a monohydroxy functional silicone oligomer with relatively low molecular weight. It can react with isocyanate-functional systems and is suitable for silicone-modified polyurethane, PUD, TPU, polyester and acrylic resin systems.
ADDSiL™ 2073 combines good reactivity with excellent compatibility and can improve surface properties such as slip, release performance, hydrophobicity and surface feel. Its low surface tension also contributes to improved levelling and flow.

ADDSiL™ 2073 is designed for the synthesis of silicone-modified polyurethane resins and dispersions, including PU, PUD and TPU systems. It can also be used in modified polyester and acrylic resin formulations to improve surface slip, hydrophobicity and touch.
In TPU systems, low addition levels can provide release and anti-blocking effects, while higher addition levels can further enhance slip, water repellency and smooth silicone-like feel.
ADDSiL™ 2073 is available in 25Kg pails.
When stored at temperatures between 10°C and 35°C in the original unopened containers, ADDSiL™ 2073 has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of production.
