ADDSiL™ 2004 is a hydroxymethyl-terminated reactive silicone additive with much higher reactivity than conventional Si-OH silicones. Reacting with isocyanates, it integrates silicone segments into polyurethane/amino crosslinked systems, boosting low-temperature flexibility, water resistance, surface slip and anti-tear performance, and forms a permanent low-surface-energy layer on coatings.
High reactivity via -CH₂OH primary hydroxyl functionality
Improves flexibility, slip, and anti-tear performance
Enhances water resistance and anti-blocking
Imparts permanent low surface energy to cured films
Compatible with polyurethanes, amino systems

ADDSiL™ 2004 is suitable for any hydroxyl-reactive system, such as polyurethanes and amino crosslinked coatings. It can be used for:
Resin modification to improve silicone-like properties
Enhancing slip, anti-blocking, and soft touch
Imparting anti-soiling and anti-graffiti effects
Permanent surface modification in coatings and elastomers
ADDSiL™ 2004 is supplied in 25Kg pail or 200Kg drum.
In the original unopened packaging, ADDSiL™ 2004 has a shelf life of 24 months.
