KOBOND™ 8410 is a silicone-free defoamer based on acrylate copolymer. It is designed for solvent-borne and solvent-free coatings, providing strong foam suppression, breaking, and release effects. It exhibits good compatibility, reduces surface defects such as craters, and ensures safe performance in high-viscosity systems.

Application


  • KOBOND™ 5410 is recommended for use in a wide range of solvent-based and solvent-free coating systems such as 2K polyurethane, amino baking enamels, nitrocellulose dipping lacquers, acid-curing amino systems, and epoxy coatings. It effectively suppresses and eliminates foam even in high-viscosity formulations, ensuring smooth, defect-free film surfaces in both thin and thick film applications.

Packing and Storage


KOBOND™ 5410 is supplied in 25kg pail.


Keep in dry, cool and well-ventilated place. When stored at temperatures between 10°C and 35°C in the original unopened containers, KOBOND™ 5410 has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of production.
