Cyclopentasiloxane (and) Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer

SiSiB® PC16510 is a high molecular weight silicone elastomer gel swollen in cyclopentasiloxane (D5). It provides high thickening efficiency together with a silky, light, and dry smooth skin feel.


SiSiB® PC16510 improves spreadability and contributes to a soft focus effect in cosmetic formulations. It is suitable for a wide range of make-up and skin care applications requiring enhanced sensory performance.

Application


  • SiSiB® PC16510 is suitable for formulations requiring enhanced sensory properties, soft focus effect, and high viscosity build. Typical applications include make-up bases, liquid foundations, light creams, anti-wrinkle creams, concealers, essence lotions, blushers, and body lotions.


  • It may be used in oil-in-water emulsions, water-in-oil emulsions, and anhydrous formulations.

Packing and Storage


  • SiSiB® PC16510 is available in 18Kg pails with plastic liner, or 180Kg drum.


  • When stored in the original unopened container at or below 50°C, SiSiB® PC16510 has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of production.
