Silicone Surfactant for Rigid PU Foam

ADDSiL™ 11960 is a non-hydrolyzable silicone copolymer surfactant designed for rigid polyurethane foam applications. It is typically added on the polyol side and provides effective foam stabilization and uniform cell structure during the foaming process.


The product is particularly suitable for hydrocarbon-blown rigid PU foam systems used in refrigeration appliances, construction insulation and pour-in-place applications.

Application


  • ADDSiL™ 11960 can be used in a variety of rigid polyurethane foam formulations where stable foam formation and uniform cell structure are required.


  • Typical applications include refrigerator and freezer insulation foams, appliance insulation materials, laminated rigid PU panels, pour-in-place insulation systems and construction insulation foams.

Packing and Storage


  • ADDSiL™ 11960 is supplied in 200Kg steel drum or 1000Kg IBC tote.


  • Store in tightly closed original containers in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place. Avoid exposure to excessive heat or moisture.


  • When stored under recommended conditions in unopened containers,  ADDSiL™ 11960 has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of manufacture.
