ADDSiL™ 7017 is a hydroxy-functional silicone-modified polyacrylate developed for solvent-borne coating systems.
Due to its high surface activity, the additive migrates to the coating surface during film formation and can be chemically incorporated into the polymer network through reaction of its hydroxyl groups with suitable crosslinking binders. This permanent anchoring provides durable easy-clean and anti-graffiti performance. It also improves hydrophobicity, oleophobicity, surface slip and stain resistance, while maintaining good compatibility with clear coating systems. It is particularly suitable for solvent-borne topcoats requiring long-lasting surface protection.

ADDSiL™ 7017 is a hydroxy-functional silicone-modified polyacrylate developed for solvent-borne coating systems. It is particularly suitable for crosslinked topcoat formulations, such as two-component polyurethane, alkyd/melamine, polyester/melamine, acrylic/melamine and acrylic/epoxy systems.
During film formation, the additive migrates to the coating surface and becomes permanently anchored into the polymer network through reaction of its hydroxyl groups with suitable crosslinking binders. This provides durable easy-clean, anti-graffiti and stain-resistant performance while improving hydrophobicity, oleophobicity and surface slip.
ADDSiL™ 7017 is supplied in net weight 25 kg pail or 180Kg steel drum.
Store in tightly closed original containers in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place.
ADDSiL™ 7017 has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of manufacture. Containers should be tightly closed immediately after use.
