Antistatic Additive

KOBOND™ 9115 is an antistatic additive based on an aqueous solution of quaternary ammonium compounds. Designed for waterborne coating systems, it effectively reduces coating resistance to meet the requirements of electrostatic application.


The antistatic effect is based on the ionic conductivity of the additive and moisture adsorption on the coating surface, helping to prevent static charge accumulation without significantly affecting coating performance.

Application


  • KOBOND™ 9115 is recommended for waterborne coating systems requiring improved conductivity and electrostatic dissipation, particularly for electrostatic spray application.


  • It can also be used in antistatic coatings where prevention of dust attraction and electrostatic charge build-up is required.

Packing and Storage


  • KOBOND™ 9115 is supplied in 25Kg pail.


  • Store in tightly closed original containers in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area. Protect from freezing, heat, and direct sunlight. KOBOND™ 9115 has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of production.
